Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the growth strategy for the Private Risk division.

• Lead the development of tailored insurance programs for HNW/UHNW clients.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to align private risk goals with firmwide objectives.

Client Management & Development

• Serve as the senior relationship manager for key private clients.

• Identify new opportunities through referrals, strategic partnerships, and networking.

• Maintain a high level of client service and retention through proactive risk assessments and personal engagement.

• Present renewal and new business proposals, ensuring accuracy and clarity in both written and verbal communications.

Carrier & Market Strategy

• Build and manage relationships with top-tier personal lines carriers.

• Negotiate favorable terms and ensure access to broad and competitive markets.

• Stay informed on emerging trends in personal risk and high-value insurance markets.

Compliance & Risk Oversight

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.

• Oversee risk review processes, underwriting submissions, and client documentation.

• Establish and maintain quality assurance and service standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).

• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a focus on high-net-worth clients.

• Ability to work independently.

• Proven leadership and team-building experience.

• Deep knowledge of private risk carriers, products, and market practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

• Licensed Property & Casualty Producer (or willingness to obtain quickly).

• Ability to work in all Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

• Experience working in Epic is preferred.
