Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Preconstruction to lead preconstruction efforts and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of projects in Florida. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and client engagement during the preconstruction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the preconstruction team, including estimators and project coordinators.
• Develop and maintain accurate project budgets, schedules, and scopes.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Oversee bid preparation, subcontractor selection, and proposal development.
• Identify and mitigate risks during the preconstruction phase.
• Drive continuous improvement in preconstruction processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a preconstruction leadership role.
• Strong background in exterior restoration, façade systems, or building envelope projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
