Your role as a Director of People and Culture

As the Director of People and Culture at Card-Monroe Corp., you will be a strategic and hands-on leader instrumental in shaping and nurturing a high-performance workplace culture. This role encompasses all facets of human resources strategy and operations, including talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, benefits and compensation, performance management, and compliance. You will be a vital member of the Senior Executive Leadership Team, aligning People strategies with business goals as our organization continues to grow and evolve.

Your expertise will extend across our Hixson, TN, Ringgold, GA, and Greenville, SC sites, ensuring a cohesive approach to human resources functions. This position is onsite at our headquarters in Hixson, TN, with minimal travel (10% or less) required to support our Greenville, SC operations, providing you the opportunity to drive impactful changes while remaining closely connected to our core team.

Expertise in HR operations and compliance is crucial, as you will be expected to handle both strategic and operational tasks with ease and confidence. Furthermore, your ability to drive organizational growth through thoughtful collaboration and talent development will be paramount in enhancing our workplace culture.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field; master's degree or HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) strongly preferred.
  • 8-12+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven experience leading HR in a growing company of 200+ employees.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience implementing or upgrading HRIS and performance management systems.
