Zion Lutheran Church, a growing and inclusive Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation in the Houston Heights, seeks a full-time Director of Operations to manage and oversee the operations and business of the church. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, forward-thinking, self-motivated, capable of learning systems quickly, an efficient and pro-active problem solver, and able to handle multiple administrative tasks at once.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent people skills: personable and friendly, kind to all who interact with the church, appropriately firm with boundaries, good-humored, and service-oriented, as befits the work of the church.
