Overview

Our client, a luxury online styling service, is seeking a Director of Operations to join their team in NYC. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient execution across all departments.

Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a centralized company calendar to support effective scheduling and planning.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication across departments, implementing systems to share key information organization-wide.
  • Lead cross-departmental meetings to ensure alignment on project goals, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Uphold and promote company values and culture across all operations.
  • Develop and implement project management best practices to ensure efficient workflows and timely project execution.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to manage projects from conception through completion, establishing goals, deliverables, timelines, and assigning clear ownership.
  • Optimize and oversee go-to-market workflows to ensure effective collaboration between Marketing, Creative, Copy, Sales, and Tech/Product Development teams.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify roadblocks, and provide solutions to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Partner with executive leadership to create and manage budgets across creative, marketing, and tech functions.
  • Track spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and management of external partners.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership experience driving cross-functional initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing workflows, managing timelines, and allocating resources across diverse projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with creative project management tools (Asana experience highly preferred).
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive and growth-focused approach.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a strong plus.
  • Experience working closely with tech teams or tech product managers is a strong plus.
