About The Renatural

The Renatural is a VC-backed, NYC-based vertically integrated beauty company revolutionizing the wig and hair extension industry.

We've developed the first patented robotic process for hyper-realistic wig-making, fusing precision engineering with dedicated craftsmanship. In the past year, we've filed two additional patents and are entering a period of rapid growth — scaling from founder-led production to a high-output, world-class manufacturing operation.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the inflection point: you'll be the architect and executor of the operational backbone that takes us to 10,000+ orders and beyond.

Role Overview

We are seeking an absolute execution powerhouse — someone who has successfully run a production floor before, thrives on precision, and sets a gold standard for quality. You are as comfortable walking the line and solving problems in real time as you are building systems in spreadsheets. You spot inefficiencies instantly, know how to coach teams to peak performance, and won't compromise on delivering flawless products, on time, every time.

You will own everything from material procurement to the moment a finished product lands in a customer's hands — ensuring operational excellence and meticulous execution at every stage.

Key Responsibilities -

Production Floor & Facility Leadership

  • Manage daily production floor operations, ensuring all teams (machine operators, QC, sealing/finishing, fulfillment) consistently hit and exceed output and quality targets.
  • Lead from the floor — be physically present to observe, troubleshoot, and enforce high standards in real time.
  • Translate production goals into clear daily and weekly schedules for supervisors and teams.
  • Monitor machine uptime, work closely with engineers to minimize downtime, and implement preventative maintenance routines.
  • Design floor layouts and workstation setups for maximum efficiency, safety, and throughput.
  • Establish, document, and enforce rigorous SOPs for every stage of manufacturing, sealing, finishing, and packing.

Operations Strategy & Scaling

  • Build the full operational blueprint for scalable growth
  • Forecast capacity needs for machines, materials, space, and labor as volume grows.
  • Identify bottlenecks before they occur and build redundancies into critical processes.
  • Implement real-time performance tracking for production and fulfillment to quickly correct deviations.

Procurement & Inventory Management

  • Own supplier relationships for materials (hair, base materials, packaging).
  • Negotiate lead times, pricing, and minimums to keep production uninterrupted.
  • Implement robust inventory control systems to ensure zero stockouts or overstock.
  • Oversee receiving, storage, and staging of materials for production.

Fulfillment & Last-Mile Excellence

  • Ensure every order leaves on time, in perfect condition, with a premium unboxing experience.
  • Hire, train, and lead the fulfillment team as order volume scales.
  • Optimize packaging design, shipping methods, and courier relationships to reduce costs and increase speed.
  • Build relationships with 3PLs and logistics partners if/when outsourcing becomes strategic.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with engineering to keep robotic and manual production running at max capacity.
  • Work with Customer Experience to ensure proactive communication on order status, delays, or special handling.
  • Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to align production with product drops and launch timelines.

Data & Systems

  • Build dashboards and KPI tracking for production efficiency, defect rates, on-time delivery, and order accuracy.
  • Select and implement ERP, WMS, and inventory systems tailored to a vertically integrated, made-to-order model.
  • Use data to drive decisions — adjusting staffing, scheduling, and workflows to hit targets.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain for a fast-paced consumer brand; experience in vertically integrated or made-to-order environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record running a production floor — you've been responsible for daily throughput, quality control, and team performance in a live manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success scaling from low-volume, high-touch production to high-volume without sacrificing quality.
  • Hands-on leadership experience keeping operators, supervisors, and logistics teams in sync under tight deadlines.
  • Strong mechanical and process intuition — able to work alongside engineers to solve bottlenecks quickly.
  • Advanced skill in Excel/Sheets; experience with ERP/WMS software and operational project management tools.
  • Relentless attention to detail, extremely high standards, and a bias for action — you don't just design systems, you ensure they're followed and deliver results every single day.
  • Experience in high-precision manufacturing or beauty/hair/CPG industry production a plus.

Why Join Us

  • Competitive salary + equity in a high-growth, VC-backed company.
  • Direct impact on building the operational foundation of a disruptive beauty hardware brand.
  • Comprehensive health and dental insurance.
  • Opportunity to define best-in-class operational standards in an underserved $12B+ global market.
  • Career growth opportunities
