We are one of Michigan's premier veterinary practice groups, with over 20 clinics throughout Michigan. We are experiencing an exciting period of growth and are seeking a talented Operations Manager to support our clinics and dedicated staff members.

This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and works closely with the senior leadership team. You will help establish standards, practices, policies, and expectations to deliver excellent patient, client, and employee experiences. Your responsibilities include visiting clinics, gathering feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting leadership to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness.

As part of the operations team, you will collaborate with each site's Leader to improve the client experience and operational efficiency. Key skills include strategic thinking, goal setting, innovative problem-solving, operational expertise, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Education and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Veterinary or healthcare management, hospitality management, or business/finance.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business management, demonstrating increased responsibility, problem-solving, and team supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for people and pets, with empathy and compassion.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and strategic problem-solving.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Use analytical skills to address issues related to hospital, client, and employee experiences.
  • Proactively identify and resolve process gaps.
  • Recommend business improvements and assess technology platforms for performance enhancements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and team members.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to site leaders and departments.
  • Support staff retention and foster a positive team culture.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits and feedback sessions with hospital teams.
  • Ensure standards through reviews and audits.
