Position Overview:

The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of 7 Brew Energy, 7 Brew's proprietary canned energy drink company. This role will focus on the direct planning / supervision of all 7 Brew Energy production with the goal of maintaining abundant supply and driving down costs. The Director of Operations should feel confident in solving complex problems and helping 7 Brew Energy meet the needs of 7 Brew's significant stand growth. This role involves working cross functionally with many departments including supply chain, R&D, marketing, and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute production runs of 7 Brew Energy from planning through fulfillment
  • Update / enhance demand forecasting and communicate with key partners
  • Ensure 7 Brew Energy remains in compliance with state and federal laws
  • Assist in RFPs to lock in strong partnerships and lower COGS
  • Support efforts in expanding manufacturing and warehousing network across the US
  • Work in tandem with logistics department to maintain sufficient inventory levels at DCs
  • Mitigate damage across the 7 Brew Energy supply chain
  • Collaborate with R&D department to facilitate new projects (new SKUs, case packs, etc.)
  • Identify, hire, and train future additions to the 7 Brew Energy team

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to present data succinctly and clearly
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in contract development and execution
  • Natural leader with the skills to build out a department
  • Positive attitude - works well with others
  • Effective problem solver regardless of task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Master's degree and professional certification such as CPSM preferred
  • Five years of experience in supply chain in the beverage category / CPG
