About the Role:

Seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Nursing for Behavioral Health to lead and elevate nursing standards and patient care delivery. Reporting directly to the Sr. Vice President of Patient Care Services/CNO, this leadership position will oversee behavioral health nursing operations and ensure compliance, quality care, and staff development across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and uphold nursing standards aligned with the organization's mission.
• Manage and optimize staffing levels to ensure safe, effective care delivery.
• Supervise Assistant Directors, Nurse Managers, and Admin Coordinators.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams and physicians on performance improvement and compliance.
• Lead quality initiatives using data-driven methods, TQM, CQI, and root cause analysis.
• Participate in budgeting, policy-making, and strategic planning with executive leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
• (OR at least 10 years of relevant administrative/supervisory experience)
• Licensure: Current NYS Registered Nurse License
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Preferred:

Doctorate in Nursing or related field
