Are you a proven leader in aviation maintenance with a knack for ensuring fleet reliability? Our client, a leader in the aviation industry, is seeking a Director of Maintenance Readiness to drive the operational availability and dispatch readiness of their Part 135 fleet. This pivotal role is your chance to make a significant impact through strategic leadership and seamless execution.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee daily maintenance readiness and optimal fleet dispatch availability for Part 135 operations.
• Direct and coordinate overnight maintenance planning to minimize aircraft downtime.
• Lead a team of Assistant Directors of Maintenance (ADOMs), ensuring performance targets are met.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Control, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain.
• Monitor KPIs (MEL trends, delays, deferrals, dispatch reliability) and proactively address root causes.
• Ensure stringent compliance with FAA Part 135 maintenance requirements and internal policies.
• Act as the key escalation point for maintenance-related delays affecting flight operations.
• Champion continuous improvement to reduce AOGs and enhance planned maintenance.
• Participate in strategic planning and support budgeting for maintenance readiness.

What You'll Bring:

• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate is required.
• 8–10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including 3–5 years in a leadership/director-level role within a Part 135 operation.
• Proven track record in maintenance planning and managing overnight events.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FAA regulations (Part 135 and Part 43).
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in aircraft maintenance tracking systems (e.g., Veryon, CAMP, Traxxall, Flightdocs).
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and pass all required background and drug tests.

Preferred: Experience managing large on-demand charter/regional fleets, Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance/Engineering, Six Sigma or Lean experience.
