Director of Maintenance - Centers Health CARE : Job Details

Schenectady Center is hiring a Director of Maintenance in Schenectady, NY.Duties Include:Responsible for all maintenance department operations & personnelRegular inspections of the facility, for safety, upkeep, appearance & equipment performanceSupervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities and schedulesSchedule & ensure completion of all maintenance & repairsProvide oversight of maintenance/repairs & ensure contracted services are completed in a timely fashionMaintains records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspectionsCoordinating department operations, budgets, and monitoring expendituresEnsure all maintenance work is in accordance with State/Federal & OSHA standardsMust have the ability to be on-call for emergency situationsRequirements:5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenancePrior supervisory experience in a Healthcare maintenance settingMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalentStrong work ethic, intense drive, initiative for quality serviceSolid computer skills; working knowledge of MS OfficeAbility to multi-task / stay on task & maintain focus in stressful situationsEvidence of solid leadership and supervision skillsAbout us:Schenectady Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 240-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located near the lively, reinvigorated downtown.
