Elkhorn Healthcare & Rehabilitation is currently searching for an experienced Director of Maintenance!

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Director is to ensure the highest quality and cleanliness of resident care, support staff, and establish a positive community reputation while maintaining the facility.

• Make minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers. Change filters on HVAC equipment, lift, and stock supplies.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Operate garden, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, heating, cooling tools, and equipment, including boilers, furnaces, water heaters, air conditioning units, etc.

• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
• Completion of orientation as per company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment (if required).
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Criminal background check showing no criminal activity.
• Show proof of identity and employment eligibility within three days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Maintenance.
