Job Title: Director of MaintenanceLocation: Valdosta, GASalary: $90,000 - $110,000, Bonus, Full Benefits (medical, dental, vision, short & long-term disability, free admission and special discounts, tuition reimbursement, 401k, profit sharing, etc.)Overview The Director of Maintenance oversees all park operations, including park maintenance, ride maintenance, construction, zoo operations, and special projects.Responsibilities Manage daily maintenance of all park facilities, rides, and attractions, covering mechanical, electrical, HVAC, electronic, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and sound systems.Conduct routine inspections of rides, equipment, and facilities.Develop proactive maintenance plans, delegate tasks, oversee procurement, and coordinate resources.Ensure all property, facilities, rides, and equipment are maintained safely, reliably, and cost-effectively.Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets.Manage new construction and capital projects.Supervise personnel, contractors, and resources.Coordinate with ride manufacturers to resolve issues and ensure safety.Communicate with the corporate team regarding ride-related matters.Maintain animal areas, exhibits, and holding areas in compliance with standards.Requirements & Skills Minimum 5 years of maintenance management, operations, and construction experience in a themed entertainment or amusement park environment.Skills in safety awareness, business acumen, leadership, strategic planning, analytical thinking, stress management, attention to detail, coaching, management, problem-solving, and training.#J-18808-Ljbffr
