Director of Legal Counsel - Motorola Solutions : Job Details

Ensure that Silvus always operates within the law, offers counsel on legal issues, serves as an effective guardian of the organization, and facilitates business development. The successful candidate will be able to manage the impact of external factors and limit risk exposure. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and lead the product and commercial legal strategy for Silvus, embracing opportunities while balancing risk and ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements both within the commercial and the DoD sector. Responsible for overseeing all legal matters pertaining to the organization, with a focus on product, commercial and regulatory, as well as the coordination of any legal matters handled by outside counsel. Lead and develop the direct Silvus legal team, as well as coordinate cross-functionally across stakeholder groups, in order to support the growing legal needs of the Silvus business.
