We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Director of Institutional Research! In this pivotal role, you will serve as the main advisor for data and information, overseeing all areas related to institutional research. Your key responsibilities will include the collection, development, analysis, and communication of data to support strategic decision-making and institutional assessment.
As a leader in our institution, you will utilize predictive analytics and data visualization tools, while also supervising the submission of state and federal reports. Your expertise will guide our institutional assessment processes, ensuring that data is used ethically and effectively.
To be considered for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in applied research or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years' experience in statistical data analysis within an institutional research context is essential. Proficiency in SQL, data analysis programming languages, and visualization tools is required. A strong understanding of higher education policies, procedures, and accreditation standards will set you apart.
You will need excellent communication skills, project management expertise, and advanced knowledge of statistical and research methodologies. This role also involves educating and training others in the effective use of data for decision-making, requiring the ability to engage with a diverse array of stakeholders.
