What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and firewalls, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency
- Manage the Firm's cloud systems, servers, and network infrastructure, ensuring systems are up to date and compliant with firm protocols
- Lead internal IT projects, vendor quotes, and technology purchases while ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Direct and support the IT team, including staffing, scheduling, training, and mentorship to ensure excellent service delivery
- Serve as a technical escalation point and provide hands-on support when necessary
- Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans, testing backup procedures to ensure business continuity
- Create, update, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and technical documentation
- Deliver ongoing IT training to staff and ensure successful adoption of firm technologies
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer services, network services, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience with strong network and server management background
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting day-to-day IT issues
- Proven leadership experience managing IT teams and developing talent
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Windows (current versions)
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Office 365
- Network, database, and hardware/software architecture
- Strong understanding of IT best practices, compliance, and security protocols
- A valid driver's license (or equivalent legal authorization to operate a vehicle)
- Access to reliable transportation to travel to various office and client locations as required
- Delivers after-hours emergency service by monitoring emails, ticketing system, and phone calls before and after business during busy season
