A large company is seeking a seasoned Director of Human Resources to lead and manage all aspects of its HR department. This senior-level role involves overseeing employee relations, hiring and termination processes, onboarding, compliance, and union negotiations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR leadership, with experience handling sensitive personnel matters, supporting organizational goals, and ensuring a productive and compliant workplace environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Managing the HR department and supervising HR staff
Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and termination processes
Addressing employee relations and resolving workplace issues
Ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies
Handling union relations and representing the company in negotiations
Supporting leadership with strategic HR planning and implementation
Ideal Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role
