About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Hospice Services with a robust nursing background to lead our dedicated hospice team. As a key leader within our organization, you will oversee all operations and play a pivotal role in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of our hospice services. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who is a self-starter, possesses strong leadership qualities, and is deeply committed to the philosophy of hospice care.

In this role, you will ensure that all patient and family services meet regulatory requirements and professional standards. You will engage in all aspects of management, including business and clinical operations, business development, financial oversight, and compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates should be a Registered Nurse or Administrator with a relevant degree and at least three years of management experience in a hospice or home health care environment. You should have a comprehensive understanding of hospice regulations, reimbursement systems, and healthcare management principles, as well as the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.

The Director will lead a multidisciplinary team, advocate for hospice and palliative care, and ensure the provision of high-quality, patient-centered care. Proficiency in budget development, financial monitoring, and analysis is essential, along with an understanding of the services offered to patients and their families through an interdisciplinary approach.
