Director of Government and Community Affairs--Metro and Florham Campuses - Fairleigh Dickinson University : Job Details

The Director of Government and Community Affairs is responsible for managing the Universitys work in cultivating and sustaining relationships with elected and non-profit leaders, business and community groups and advocating for legislative and government support to advance the Universitys mission. This position will be a vital member of the Government Affairs, Community Relations & Strategic Initiatives team and will coordinate and help execute the Universitys strategy under the leadership of the Senior Vice President for this area. The Director will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with government officials and their staff at local, state, and federal levels to advance FDUs priorities. With key opportunities on the horizon, the Director will be central in positioning the University to succeed in an evolving policy landscape.
