Working from either Honolulu, Hawaii or Los Angeles, California, the Director of Global Supply Chain is a strategic and hands-on leader with end-to-end supply chain experience, a strong background in the consumer packaged goods industry, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
A Hawaii-headquartered, globally distributed consumer goods company seeks an experienced Director of Global Supply Chain to lead its end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple markets. This role will drive strategic planning and execution across procurement, co-manufacturing, demand planning, warehousing, logistics, and distribution. The ideal candidate is both a visionary leader and a hands-on operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building resilient, high-performing teams. The position can be based in Honolulu or Los Angeles, supporting operations across Hawaii, the mainland U.S., and international locations.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the global supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, and contract manufacturing
- Drive the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process to optimize alignment across business units
- Manage supplier relationships and develop strategies for cost control and supply chain resilience
- Oversee warehousing and freight distribution operations to improve efficiency and performance
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor and optimize supply chain performance
- Support demand planning and forecasting to ensure supply aligns with business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, sales, and finance
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and hands-on leadership
- Supervise and develop a team of professionals across key supply chain functions

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- CPG industry experience strongly preferred
- Proven success in leading global or multi-site supply chain operations
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred
