About the Role
The organization is actively seeking a dynamic Director of Fundraising and Community Engagement. In this crucial role, you will cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing supporters while also inspiring new community members to commit financially. This position is vital to building a robust grassroots movement centered on advocacy and voting initiatives.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic plans that enhance community involvement and drive revenue growth. Additionally, you will focus on building and maintaining relationships with donors and ensuring that fundraising targets are met.
A key expectation is to maintain meticulous records and actively engage community members in advocacy activities.
Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years of fundraising expertise, with a demonstrable history of success. Connections to the Jewish community and its educational institutions are essential. The ability to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances, high motivation, and outstanding problem-solving and communication abilities are prerequisites for this role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Jewish education and advocacy, be capable of working independently, and hold a Bachelor's degree or have equivalent experience. We're looking for a collaborative team player who excels in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and is willing to represent the organization at community events and forums.
