Overview:

Join our dynamic Corrections team as a Director of Food Services, where you will lead a talented group of food service professionals in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your leadership will ensure that our clients never miss a meal, while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operations of the food service department, managing resources effectively.
• Guide and develop a team of associates, including the hiring and training of new staff members.
• Ensure compliance with culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Manage departmental budgeting, including sourcing ingredients and achieving financial targets.
• Collaborate with district managers and other departments to enhance dining services.
• Respond to and address customer service needs promptly.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of two years of experience in coordinating food service operations.
• Experience in industrial cooking.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with both hourly staff and executives.
• Adept at managing in a diverse environment while prioritizing client satisfaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills:

• ServSafe and/or HACCP certification.

Compensation: $55,000 - 60,000/year
