Position Summary:
This position is accountable for directing the operations and delivery of consulting and training services for clients. The position has direct P&L accountability for the Consulting and training service lines in the NA Expert Partners business unit and works with other Expert Partners business units in the Merieux NutriSciences network on global consulting and training projects. As part of the Becoming a Full Solution Provider pillar, we intend to considerably expand Expert Partners to capture increasing customer demands for higher-end services and long-term partnerships such as Consulting, Training, Audit, Regulatory & Label compliance services. A Global Expert Services Hub has been created to foster the development of these services. This Hub is working as a knowledge center responsible for collecting and sharing offers, expertise, materials, best practices and internal training. This position collaborates with the EP HUB to share, learn and replicate some global best practices.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Knowledge:
This position requires an advanced knowledge of food science, technology, sanitation, safety and microbiology obtained from a M.S. degree or related scientific fields or equivalent experience to provide technical guidance and expertise to client and technical service personnel. Knowledge of the business disciplines of finance, budgeting, sales, and marketing practices are necessary to develop new business and maintain current customers successfully. Broad knowledge of training and instructional design obtained from formal education or relevant work experience. Strong personal computer skills in word processing, presentation graphics, database management, and spreadsheet applications are essential to prepare and update information and perform financial analysis, projections and planning. Strong planning and organizational skills are needed to effectively handle multiple tasks and assignments in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills are needed to provide accurate information in both a written and oral format. Customer relation skills are needed to obtain and provide information to the customer. Strong management skills, obtained from previous supervisory experience, are necessary to ensure that the departments run smoothly. As a Hub Expert, the incumbent must have strong transversal and influencing management skills, be fluent in English, at ease with International scope of work and coordination and have an appetite for structure and rigor.
CommunicationAll Merieux NutriSciences NA departments at all levels. Will work in collaboration with the regional Expert Services Leaders, country experts, GKA team, Expert Services regional marketing managers and Sustainability consultants. Multinational food manufacturers, foodservice, and retail clients. Will be exposed to the external network of experts on the market and our Customers/GKA when needed.

Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe incumbent will work from their home with proper lighting and temperature control while not on assignment. Travel may be required to assist with consulting services and to meet with clients. Travel levels will be less than 50%. The incumbent can expect extended time spent in a standing position.
TravelFrequent travel is required to client sites for consultations, tradeshows and training sessions.
