Schedule: 35 hours/week
FUNCTION:Oversee the Division of Family Services, and the Mobility Mentoring Program
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for overseeing the Family Services Division, under the guidance of the EVP of Programs.
Complete and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as requested by the Program Planning, Research and Evaluation Department.
Assist the EVP of Programs in the hiring or Human Resources oversight of divisional staff.
Direct up to 4 Mobility Mentors and up to 2 Mobility Mentor Navigators, EISEP Case Managers and Outreach Specialist including performance reviews and staff observations.
Oversee the mobility mentoring and motivational interviewing carried out by staff members in the Family Services Division, including training new and current staff members.
Work directly with clients in the Family Services Division, as required by any staffing limitations.
Attend Urban League of Rochester functions and events.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the EVP of Programs.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree with a background in case management, mobility mentoring or motivational interviewing.
Master's degree in a relevant area (i.e., case management, counselling, human services) preferred.
Knowledge of mobility mentoring required; knowledge of case management preferred.
Requires 3+ years of experience in client interactions or management.
Requires 2+ years of experience in managing or overseeing other staff members.
Experience in civic engagement, financial planning preferred.
Demonstrated ability to independently meet deadlines and requirements from supervisors.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Capacity to manage multiple projects and assignments, often with competing deadlines.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of the dynamics of race and class within the political economy of contemporary urban America.
Competency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Access, and Excel.
Must be able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.

Salary Description
$55,000 - $60,000 annually
