This position is a leadership role for Engineering Operations to support creating, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Engineering programs.
The overall responsibility of our Engineering leaders is to provide a high level of property maintenance, including maintaining the building, grounds, and physical plant with particular attention toward safety, security, and asset protection and is responsible to plan, organize, direct, and control the work of the Engineering Team Members in the Engineering Division within the bounds of the collective bargaining agreement and, contractor and vendors. Activities include providing the technical services, building maintenance systems, and overall administration of operations to provide an exceptional guest experience at the highest standard of quality.

Related professional certification is a plus
Minimum experience:
5 years' experience as Director of Engineering
Proven leadership skills both inside and outside a property
Prior experience managing a union group
Ability to work independently
Special skill requirements:
Strong knowledge of HotSOS a plus.
Cross regional/country experience a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills-verbal and written.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of the business and operational side of lodging or real estate in addition to the required experience is a plus.
Computer literacy at a high level to include Microsoft Windows environment, Excel, Word, Access, etc.
Minimum skill requirements:
Ability to make sound business recommendations or decisions on assigned responsibilities.
A high degree of analytic ability and inductive thinking.

185,000 -195,000 annual salary
