Director of Engineering
Primary Role:
Responsible for day-to-day management and leadership of the engineering team knowledgeable in the systems provided and supported. Responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support to sales and technical staff on integrated low-voltage systems. Must have ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Accountability:
The Engineering Manager will be accountable to the Vice President Operations. Secondary accountability will be to the other management team members, employees and customers of the company.
Qualifications:
The Engineering Manager shall possess a bachelor's degree with 5 years of design/engineering experience in integrated systems. Demonstrated technical expertise with integrated low-voltage systems, software applications, and network and access systems. Must have superior analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and solve network problems in a timely manner. A minimum of 3 years' working experience in the electronics field is required. Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team of engineers, with demonstrated success in team management and project execution . This person must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with other people.
