We are seeking an accomplished Director of Engineering to lead our talented engineering team during an exciting period of growth. In this crucial role, you will closely collaborate with our founding team to modernize our architecture, enhance performance, and expand our team capabilities. You will play a key role in shaping the future of a product that positively impacts communities.

As the Director of Engineering, you will:

• Lead a high-performance engineering team across various platforms.
• Drive architectural decisions and oversee platform modernization.
• Establish and implement strong engineering processes.
• Manage the full cycle of engineering talent acquisition and development.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with a proven ability to scale SaaS teams. Experience in early to mid-stage startups, especially those preparing for IPO, is highly desirable. You should possess a strong foundation in architectural modernization, legacy platform migrations, and in leading web, mobile, backend, and QA teams.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a knack for cross-functional leadership, and a demonstrated ability to build leadership layers and recruit top talent. Familiarity with DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines is essential.

Additionally, you will partner with Product and Design teams to establish robust engineering practices and provide technical guidance to cross-functional pods, ensuring operational efficiency.
