About the Role

The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Director of Engineering to spearhead the development of cutting-edge agentic AI systems tailored for the healthcare sector. In this pivotal role, you will architect and scale advanced AI solutions designed to streamline complex medical workflows. Your mission will include building, mentoring, and expanding high-performing engineering teams, as well as designing new infrastructure and enhancing existing systems.

Collaboration with a world-class founding team is crucial to expanding the boundaries of applied AI in healthcare. As the Director of Engineering, you will ensure the robust integration, optimization, and successful deployment of LLM in production environments.

To excel in this position, you should possess a proven track record in building and scaling agentic AI systems, with a preference for experience in frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or similar. A deep understanding of LLMOps, fine-tuning models, and deploying production-grade GenAI applications is essential. You should also demonstrate strong technical leadership skills, an aptitude for thriving in fast-paced, early-stage environments, and hands-on experience with modern tech stacks like React, Python, and/or Node.js.

A background in ML, AI, or related fields, combined with a focus on action and experimentation, is critical. Candidates with experience in startup settings—especially in healthcare, medical data, or regulated tech systems—will be highly regarded. A passion for building innovative solutions with small teams and grand ambitions will set you apart.
