Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Come join our team and love what you do! We are currently hiring a Director of Dietary and Food Services for Fremont Hospital!

The Director of Dietary and Food Services is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities of the Dietary and Food Service Department which includes providing nutritious and attractive meals for patients and facility employees, maintaining an organized and sanitary environment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies, safety in operation and care of equipment, and managing an effective food service staff. Responsible for monitoring performance improvement plans of the department. Working closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager to implement menus and dietetic policies and procedures that meet all regulatory and compliance needs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in food and/or nutrition related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Experience in food service management preferably in a healthcare facility.
• Experience in a management/supervisory role.
• Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission/CMS, OSHA, state, and federal regulatory requirements.

Certification(s):

• Registered Dietician or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)

Computer/Software programs:

• Type 35+ WPM
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to learn specialized food planning and patient care software (Blue Print, Bed Board)

Fremont Hospital is a fully accredited, 148-bed private inpatient psychiatric hospital providing quality care for children through adults. The facility provides a full assortment of care which includes assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment as well as chemical dependency outpatient care.
