About the Role

The company is on the lookout for an energetic and accomplished Director of Development to join their Medical and Healthcare Advancement senior leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development team, guiding and mentoring your colleagues while shaping crucial philanthropic priorities for the school. Your mission will involve devising and executing strategic philanthropic plans that engage top prospects, while representing the organization in various high-level meetings.

You will also play a key role in fundraising efforts, focusing on identifying, qualifying, and nurturing relationships within a portfolio of significant prospects. Frequent travel to connect with donors will be a part of your responsibilities. Qualified candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree and possess a minimum of 10 years of fundraising experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in fundraising, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with senior officers, faculty, and influential volunteers.
