The opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a Director of Data Governance to join our team. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $157,400 - $212,500 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Develop and leadthe enterprise data governance strategy, aligning it with business goals and major transformation initiatives
  • Promote data cultureby championing data literacy, stewardship, and ethical data use across the organization
  • Design and implementa comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, and operating models for data quality and lifecycle management
  • Oversee governance tools and processes, including the selection, adoption, and tracking of data domains, lineage, and systems of record
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, leading the Enterprise Data Governance Council and partnering with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams
  • Provide expert consultationto senior leadership and project teams, supporting regulatory compliance, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement
More about you
  • High degree of expertisein data governance, master data management, and data lifecycle techniques
  • Experience with data management, modeling, architecture
  • Implement and maintaindata monitoring and quality standards using governance tools across metadata, lineage, and stewardship
  • Apply knowledge of data architecture and platformsto support scalable and compliant data environments
  • Support ERP implementations such as SAP, Oracle, and Workday, from a data governance perspective, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
  • Hold relevant certificationssuch as CDMP, PMP, Prosci, or ERP-specific credentials; preferred but not required
