Director of Data Governance - Delaware North : Job Details

Delaware North is hiring a Director of Data Governance to join our team. Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $157,400 - $212,500 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. • Develop and leadthe enterprise data governance strategy, aligning it with business goals and major transformation initiatives
• Promote data cultureby championing data literacy, stewardship, and ethical data use across the organization
• Design and implementa comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, and operating models for data quality and lifecycle management
• Oversee governance tools and processes, including the selection, adoption, and tracking of data domains, lineage, and systems of record
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, leading the Enterprise Data Governance Council and partnering with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams
• Provide expert consultationto senior leadership and project teams, supporting regulatory compliance, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement

• High degree of expertisein data governance, master data management, and data lifecycle techniques
• Experience with data management, modeling, architecture
• Implement and maintaindata monitoring and quality standards using governance tools across metadata, lineage, and stewardship
• Apply knowledge of data architecture and platformsto support scalable and compliant data environments
• Support ERP implementations such as SAP, Oracle, and Workday, from a data governance perspective, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
• Hold relevant certificationssuch as CDMP, PMP, Prosci, or ERP-specific credentials; preferred but not required
