Director of Customer Success, Operations & Strategy

We're looking for a hands-on player-coach to build, scale, and own our financial advisor success infrastructure. You'll design and operationalize the post-sale experience for financial advisors, including onboarding, education, support, reporting, and retention. You'll partner cross-functionally with trading, product, engineering, and sales to deliver a consistently exceptional experience to every advisor.

This is a ground-up, builder role for someone who wants ownership over both the advisor journey and the systems that enable it. You'll also be a thought partner in defining how financial advisors engage with custom, tax-managed strategies and how we scale that engagement across tens of thousands of clients.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end advisor success experience, including defining the advisor lifecycle from onboarding through expansion and renewal.
  • Design and execute scalable systems and workflows
  • Translate advisor experience into CRM and success workflows (e.g., Airtable, Salesforce, Zapier, and our proprietary code base)
  • Work closely with Quorus's asset manager partners and their go-to-market teams to develop and deploy process and collateral to support their sales efforts
  • Enable and educate advisors about Quorus, and help answer questions about our platform and offering
  • Create playbooks, FAQs, and toolkits to help advisors understand and communicate the value of custom, tax-managed strategies
  • Build lightweight training and enablement programs to drive advisor self-sufficiency
  • Partner with PM and engineering to deliver advisor-level AUM, performance, and tax value reporting
  • Explore ways to increase team leverage through automation, AI-based triggers, and recommendation engines
  • Work closely with portfolio management, trading, engineering, and asset manager success to ensure aligned service across stakeholders
  • Serve as the voice of the advisor within Quorus product and ops discussions
  • Support the Quorus executive leadership team and board of directors with various internal strategy projects and analysis

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years in customer success, client operations, or strategy at an asset manager, fintech, RIA aggregator, TAMP, or advisor tech platform
  • Deep familiarity with the independent advisor channel, especially how the different pieces of RIA custodial platforms and technology providers operate
  • Proven ability to build advisor enablement systems and journeys (onboarding, success metrics, risk scoring, renewal planning)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment
  • The ability to work autonomously, support multiple functions, and execute at a high level while designing for the future.
  • Ability to leverage a range of tools, including generative AI, to work quickly and iteratively on a wide range of projects, including product development, client service, marketing, and portfolio management
  • Excellent strategic thinker and communicator with a bias for clarity, follow-through, and systems thinking
  • Comfortable in ambiguity and excited to build from zero
  • Ruthlessly aggressive self-starter, able to identify, prioritize, and execute to drive Quorus's overarching goals.

Bonus:

  • Experience with tax-managed SMAs, UMAs, or direct indexing platforms
  • Series 65, or the ability to obtain the required license, shortly after starting employment
  • Experience with SQL and Python, with an emphasis on data analysis libraries such as Pandas
  • An advanced degree, such as an MBA, a Master's, or a Doctorate in a technical field

Important Notes

  • Quorus is a Registered Independent Advisor. This role will need to adhere to the Quorus employee handbook, including trade restrictions and disclosures, and Code of Ethics.
  • Employment is contingent on the completion of a background check
  • Role is a Hybrid role with in-office presence required 2 days a week.
  • The role can be based in the Greater Philadelphia or Greater Harford area. The applicant will be expected to relocate to the area.
