We're looking for a strategic, imaginative thinker to lead the growth of our agency through idea-driven business development. This is about identifying creative white space, building culturally relevant partnerships, and crafting narratives that resonate with clients and brands alike. You'll work across beauty, lifestyle, CPG, entertainment, apparel, and health & wellness sectors.As Director of Creative Strategy & Business Development, you'll lead outbound and inbound growth efforts, develop strategic positioning, shape pitch narratives, and collaborate with internal teams to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships. You'll work across entertainment, brand, public affairs, and cultural sectors.What You'll Do

• Own and shape the agency's new business strategy, aligning creative capabilities with market demand and emerging trends.
• Lead ideation sessions and craft insight-driven responses to RFPs, RFIs, and unsolicited proposals.
• Develop creative, strategy, and client to create story-first, insight-backed pitches that demonstrate the agency's POV.
• Translate client business challenges into strategic campaign platforms and creative briefs.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine our positioning, capabilities narrative, and go-to-market storytelling.

You Bring

• 8+ years experience in strategy, business development, creative partnerships, or client leadership at a creative agency, studio, or innovation firm
• Proven ability to lead and win new business rooted in strategic thinking and creative storytelling
• Deep understanding of brand strategy, campaign development, audience insights, and cultural trends
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and applying creative rigor to unlock business opportunities
• Ability to write and present persuasively—turning insights into compelling strategic and creative direction
• An entrepreneurial spirit with strong emotional intelligence and people skills
• A strong POV on where the creative industry is headed and how agencies can evolve to meet that future

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in PR, marketing, creative strategy, or business development, with agency experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead integrated creative campaigns and manage end-to-end proposal development.
• Deep understanding of PR, influencer, and digital trends, with an instinct for storytelling and cultural relevance.
• Strong deck-building, writing, and visual storytelling skills across client and pitch contexts.
• Skilled in project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com) and research tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to confidently engage with executive stakeholders and clients.
• Experience managing teams, cross-departmental collaboration, and proposal operations in a high-volume environment.
• A strategic, forward-thinking mindset with the ability to both inspire ideas and execute them at a high level.
