Job Description :

MERIT is looking for a Director, Creative Project Management to successfully drive creative priorities and manage the timeline execution of impactful initiatives across the creative team. In this role you will be responsible for establishing and managing creative timelines, creative resourcing, creative budgets, and building and implementing scalable cross-functional processes and frameworks that help to drive efficiency, productivity and clarity across the team. This role requires a strategic thinker and one who understands how to effectively prioritize and manage resources to drive desired outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day communication, timelines, and deliverables across creative teams/vendors in support of product launches, photo shoots, design/brand projects, and marketing initiatives
  • Drive collaboration and communication cross-functionally to ensure creative delivery is aligned with set timelines and briefs; manage creative resourcing and ensure the team is aligned to priorities, timeframes and overall brief
  • Oversee the briefing process that will be used by multiple departments, making sure the creative team has what they need to execute projects with as little friction as possible
  • Oversee and manage creative tools and systems; manage creative vendors and agreements related to creative systems and tools
  • Determine and manage file organizational structure for creative team
  • Partner closely with the Creative Director on long term strategic planning and creative resourcing, systems, and tools to support goals

Requirements:

  • 7+ years managing creative production and workflow (prior agency experience preferred)
  • A thorough understanding of creative workflows, creative timelines, and a demonstrated record of prioritizing and managing creative output
  • Demonstrated experience developing and iterating on systems and processes to drive creative efficiency and productivity
  • Thorough working experience with Asana and Google Drive
  • Knowledge of creative talent management and resourcing options (talent agencies, photographers, and creative freelancers)
  • Effective budgeting and long-term roadmap and resource planning capabilities
  • Effective communication skills and demonstrated history of aligning teams and necessary stakeholders throughout the entire creative process
  • An ability to develop strong relationships at all levels with cross-functional teams
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving capabilities
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to move fast, pivot and communicate when necessary, and remain calm under pressure

We are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package in addition to salary compensation. The annual salary range for this role is $135,000 - 140,000 in addition to bonus potential, stock options, a 401(k) match, health benefits, paid time off and more. The final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the individual's experience and qualifications.
