By embracing these values, we foster a culture that not only delivers exceptional results but also makes LogistiQ a great place to work.Job Summary : As a Director of Continuous Process Improvement at LogistiQ, A Division of LEWCO , you will lead our Continuous Process Improvement department and collaborate as part of the LogistiQ senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will develop and implement systemic process improvement efforts that will result in increased productivity and manufacturing velocity, quality systems improvement, and waste reduction. The Director of Continuous Process Improvement will provide leadership management that drives cultural change within manufacturing operations to identify areas of continuous improvement, implement change, promote uniformity of policies, and track progress.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)Process Analysis and Mapping: Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and create detailed process maps to document workflows and identify areas for improvement.Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead, manage, and facilitate continuous improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).Lean and WCM Methodology: Apply Lean and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles and tools to reduce waste, minimize variation, and improve processes. Conduct process audits, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, failure mode effect analysis (FMEA), and implement corrective actions.Data-Driven Decision Making: Gather and analyze relevant data to identify trends, make informed decisions, and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments, such as operations, quality, supply chain, and IT to ensure alignment and successful implementation of improvement initiatives.Training and Development: Lead training sessions for team members on continuous improvement methodologies and tools. Promote a culture of learning and improvement across the organization.Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and initiatives. Address resistance and support teams through transition phases.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track progress and results of process improvement efforts. Prepare and present reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, outcomes, and recommendations for further improvement.Project Management: Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful delivery of improvement projects.Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs through process enhancements, automation, and efficiency improvements.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManages Continuous Process Improvement department leaders and individual contributors.Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.Handles employee conduct as needed and in accordance with company employee handbook and in coordination with Human Resources.Travel DemandsThis position may require occasional travel.Qualifications And RequirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, WCM, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.Proven track record of leading successful continuous improvement initiatives in a complex, fast-paced environment.Ability to lead, influence and motivate teams.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, Power BI, etc.).Ability to operate with a strategic focus.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP system.Excellent reading and writing skills in the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, specifications, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong interpersonal skills.Successful completion of 90-day probationary period.Education And ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or a related field.Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt), or equivalent is preferred.Physical DemandsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is pleasant, temperature controlled, professional office environment in a manufacturing setting. The employee works in an office-setting but does have frequent interaction with the shop floor. On the shop floor, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
