Director of Clinical Operations (NP, PA, or MD)

Description

Are you a passionate healthcare leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused setting? Our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Operations to oversee nursing, laboratory services, and clinical operations and serve as a backup to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of nursing and lab operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide patients with quality clinical care three days a week or based on the student loan repayment requirements.
  • Support and implement clinical protocols, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a backup to the CMO, providing clinical guidance and leadership as needed.
  • Collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with FQHC regulations, Joint Commission standards, and other relevant policies.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for clinical performance, patient safety, and staff experience.

    Qualifications:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Medical Doctor (MD).
  • 2+ years of clinical experience, with 1+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Experience in primary care, community health, or FQHC settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, compliance, and quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
