GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must subscribe to an Oath of Allegiance, submit to a tuberculosis examination, be fingerprinted, complete a physical, and show proof of identity and right to work in the U.S. The district maintains a drug-free workplace policy. Employment depends on satisfactory drug testing results. Candidates must possess the relevant training, education, and experience, and pass all examination parts for the classification.
Certification: The Classified Personnel Director submits the top three candidates to the appointing authority, who may select any one. Names not appointed remain on the eligibility list.
Eligibility List: Candidates completing all phases will be ranked for one year. Employee service credit: Regular employees receive a half-point per year of service, up to five points.
