Director of Circulation Services - Library - City of Rock Island Illinois : Job Details

The Circulation Services Director is responsible for the management and oversight of the library's public service and circulation operations. The Circulation Services Director is a leader of implementing new initiatives for the library, as well as the evaluation, improvement of existing systems, processes, and procedures, especially related to circulation services. Examples of Duties Develops and recommends plans and goals for assigned library areas, assists in integrating area plans and goals into the overall library goals and objectives. Develops, recommends, implements, and enforces all policies and procedures. Hires, trains, schedules, mentors, coaches, and evaluates the work performance of staff. Directly supervises Branch Coordinators, Circulation Representatives, Desk Aides and Pages. Develops, recommends, and manages the division budget.
