Through year-round programming, immersive experiences, domestic and international opportunities and connections, USY inspires teens to share a deep sense of pride and love for their Jewish identity.
The Department of USY oversees all USY programming, communications, and strategy. The department manages all aspects of the planning and preparation of USY events that occur throughout the year, across North America. Members of the department are responsible for facilitating engagement with Jewish youth at regional, national, and virtual levels.
The Director of Chapter Outreach and Initiatives is critical to USY's engagement initiative and is charged with shaping and fostering lifelong relationships between USY, synagogues and chapters. The Director leads “grassroots” outreach to drive and strengthen teen engagement, expand USY's footprint and promote sustainability of Conservative Judaism. By striving to understand the needs of teens and communities, the Director customizes strategies and initiatives to foster a sense of community, shared purpose, inclusion and pride in Jewish identity.
