Position OverviewIndagare is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Business Intelligence to lead the company's data-driven evolution across all business functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will work closely with senior leadership to unlock the full potential of data throughout the company.

DescriptionPosition OverviewIndagare is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Business Intelligence to lead the company's data-driven evolution across all business functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will work closely with senior leadership to unlock the full potential of data throughout the company.As the company's Business Insights and Data expert, the Director of BI will be responsible for establishing foundational performance systems such as a Weekly Business Review (WBR), contributing to cross-functional collaboration on AI experimentation, and mentoring employees in analytics thinking.The role includes close collaboration with data engineering teams, as well as Tech and Business leaders, to develop a test-and-learn environment for evaluating and implementing AI solutions. Initially, this will be a high-impact individual contributor role with long-term leadership potential.What You'll Do

• Business Intelligence
• Lead the design and execution of a Weekly Business Review (WBR) process to track KPIs and highlight opportunities for growth and efficiency.
• Build dashboards and automated reporting tools that enable real-time visibility into key metrics across departments.
• Partner with leaders to translate performance data into actionable business strategies.
• AI Innovation & Test-and-Learn Culture
• Work with Tech and Business teams to identify opportunities for applying AI and machine learning to core workflows.
• Support operational teams in scaling successful experiments into daily operations.
• Data Infrastructure & Collaboration
• Collaborate with data engineering partners to ensure clean, scalable, and secure data infrastructure.
• Define business data requirements and oversee the development of reliable data pipelines and models.
• Support ongoing data governance, accessibility, and quality standards.
• Mentorship & Analytics Enablement
• Serve as the company's lead resource for business insights and data literacy.
• Mentor staff across departments in effective use of data, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools.
• Lead sessions and initiatives that support a more analytically empowered organization.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Operational Performance roles with a strong track record of hands-on impact.
• Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI), SQL, and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran).
• Experience designing and executing operational review processes and performance dashboards.
• Familiarity with practical business applications of AI/ML technologies.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and analytical storytelling skills.
• Passion for travel, luxury services, or membership-based businesses is a plus.
• Slack, Salesforce and Zoom experience preferred.
