Position: Director of Business Development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge in sales management
• 3-5 years of professional sales experience, preferably in healthcare
• Proven track record of developing sales and growth
• Knowledge of business management and familiarity with Medicare Hospice Benefit is preferred
• Experience with EMR/Customer Relationship Management software is a plus
• Excellent observation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of healthcare industry business processes and systems
• Strong written and oral communication, organization, and coaching skills
• Good problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and confident in providing sound counsel

Responsibilities:

• Call on physicians and facilities within an assigned territory to open new accounts, develop relationships, and promote hospice referrals
• Develop and execute territory business plans, managing sales resources effectively
• Use CRM tools to manage accounts and performance
• Assist in developing regional sales plans with leadership
• Mentor and support Community Education Representatives (CERs)
• Participate in recruitment, training, and evaluation of CERs
• Interact with customers with integrity
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
