As a Director Of Business Development, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the high-end residential renovation space.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, developers, and HNW clients.
  • Expand the company's network of subcontractors and trades aligned with high-end standards.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities, and design showcases.
  • Work with executive leadership to shape business development strategy and positioning.
  • Lead proposal development, RFP responses, and presentation materials.
  • Track sales pipeline, prepare reports, and measure business development KPIs.
  • Support marketing initiatives (website content, portfolio development, case studies, etc.).

The successful applicant:

  • Has 5+ years in business development, client services, or related roles in the construction, architecture, or design industries.
  • Has deep knowledge of NYC's luxury residential market and construction landscape.
  • Has director of business development experience preferred but not required.
  • Has an established network of architects, designers, and private client contacts.
  • Has strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Is a strategic thinker with entrepreneurial energy and follow-through.
  • Is comfortable with CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Has previous experience working with a general contractor or real estate development firm (preferred).
