The Why:
CLG is seeking a dynamic Business Development leader to help us expand our products, services, and initiatives to reach a wider audience by leveraging our best-in-class legal and client services platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to drive and execute on new business opportunities presented by key stakeholders to increase revenue growth across various verticals
- Present the executive team with strategic ideas that will lead to executional new business development opportunities and marketing initiatives
- Continuously stay up to date with varying industry trends, gather data from various sources to compile a variety of market research, competitors value propositions and positioning, and market insights to identify viable growth opportunities
- Proven ability to organize and manage a diverse range of projects, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines (at times in high-pressure situations)
- Strong project management abilities to lead, prepare and control complex pitches, client requests for quotes, proposals, engagement letters and NDA s
- Cultivating relationships with potential clients
- Manage content marketing strategy, collaborate with marketing team on marketing materials and collateral; draft and compile value proposition statements; produce financial proposals, budgets and timelines for opportunities
- Accurately capture new opportunities and maintain project timelines
- Update data in the firm s proprietary CRM database
Minimum Role Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- 10-15 years experience with a business development function within comparable industries, law firm or professional services organization is preferred.
- Demonstrated background in effectively executing on opportunities presented by key stakeholder and in identifying opportunities for business development.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities within tight time constraints.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Strong communication, both verbal and written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Customer service-oriented with a sense of urgency
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to comfortably navigate Google Suite Programs (Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, & Forms)
Compensation range $125,000-150,000 with additional opportunities for increase or varying offerings.
