The University of New Mexico (UNM) is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Director of Building and Landscape Services. This strategic leadership role provides oversight and operational direction for core service areas including building maintenance, landscaping, custodial services, and recycling across the Universitys campuses.
The Facility Services divisioncomprising Building & Landscape Services, Facilities Design & Construction, Facilities Customer Services, and Technical Servicesis responsible for maintaining more than 10 million square feet of facilities and 680 acres of open space. The Director will ensure an integrated administrative support model that adheres to institutional standards, promotes operational excellence, and supports strategic priorities across the division.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Facility Services, the Directorof Building and Landscape Services is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high service standards, and managing resources efficiently to sustain a safe, clean, and welcoming campus environment.

Conditions of EmploymentBachelor's degree; at least 8 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
