Gedeon GRC is seeking a Director of Bridge Engineering to lead and develop our bridge department. The role involves managing complex highway bridge projects, mentoring staff, and providing strong leadership and project management skills.

SALARY RANGE: $165,000 - $214,000 annually, pay commensurate with experience.

LOCATION: Remote, Hybrid (local to NYC Metro Area), or in-office at Syosset NY, Princeton NJ, or Newark NJ.

• Interact with clients to exceed expectations.
• Manage project schedule and budget.
• Prepare proposals for new bridge projects.
• Implement QA/QC procedures aligned with agency standards.
• Collaborate with project team leads to define scopes of work.
• Lead the expansion of the bridge department.
• Serve as lead structural designer and senior project manager.
• Streamline proposal efforts for bridge projects, focusing on specific sections and Statements of Interest.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• At least 15 years of bridge design experience.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• SECB, ASCE, SE I or SE II, OSHA certification advantageous.
• Experience with NYSDOT, PANY/NJ, NYCDOT.
• Proficiency in Office 365, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Open Roads Designer.
• Strong technical expertise in superstructure and substructure design, cost estimation, and specifications.
