Brand Marketing Director

Our client, a well known beauty brand, is searching for a strong Brand Marketing Director who will be responsible for driving brand positioning, growth, and equity by overseeing marketing planning, integrated marketing campaigns, product positioning and communications, PR, and brand activations. The ideal candidate is well versed with what is happening in the beauty and fashion retail industry, digital space, new marketing trends, and current events.

This position requires on-site presence four days a week in their office in Nassau County, NY office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership - Develop and own long-term brand strategies and annual marketing plans aligned with company goals. Define brand positioning, value proposition, and messaging architecture across channels. Serve as the brand steward ensuring consistent voice and experience across touchpoints. Develop processes for building, maintaining, and disseminating brand and product toolkits.
  • Innovation & Product Development - Lead cross-functional teams in the launch of new product platforms, line extensions, and trend and permanent collection SKUs. Drive creation of product communications Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Marketing & Communications - Oversee the development and execution of 360-degree marketing campaigns, including paid media, social, ecomm, PR, experiential, and partnerships. Collaborate with agencies and internal teams on marketing plan development and execution. Prefer knowledge/experience with omnichannel marketing strategies, including retailer e-commerce and DTC.
  • Business & Financial Management - Manage brand marketing budget. Monitor and analyze business and marketing performance in partnership with our data team to optimize marketing effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership - Lead and mentor a team of marketers. Develop and nurture strong and collaborative cross-functional relationships.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred). 8+ years of progressive experience in brand management, including 3+ years of team leadership. Prior experience in cosmetics or personal care industries required Demonstrated success in leading brand strategy, marketing plans, product launches, and integrated marketing campaigns. Comfort developing new processes and ways of working. Experience using data to drive decision-making. Excellent team and cross-functional leadership and communication
