Director of Behavioral Health Quality Assurance - Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Behavioral Health Quality Assurance to lead the quality improvement efforts for the Department of Psychiatry in a dynamic healthcare setting. This key leadership role is responsible for coordinating and implementing comprehensive quality assurance, incident review, and utilization review programs across both inpatient and ambulatory care services.

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Compensation: $130,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Quality Improvement Program for Behavioral Health Services
• Manage incident reviews, utilization reviews, and quality assurance processes
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and performance improvement standards
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to develop and implement policies, procedures, and corrective actions
• Prepare and present data-driven reports to hospital leadership and regulatory bodies
• Provide strategic direction and supervision to quality assurance teams across all behavioral health programs

Requirements:

• Master's degree required (in Psychology, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field)
• PhD or M.D. highly preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of job-related experience in behavioral health quality assurance or healthcare quality leadership
• CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) highly desirable
