JOB TITLE: Director of Ambassadors and Social Media
REPORTS TO: CEO, Founder
ABOUT THE ROLE: The Director of Ambassadors and Social Media will lead the development, execution, and measurement of strategic influencer and ambassador programs to elevate brand visibility, drive engagement, and cultivate brand loyalty across key social media platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker who is adept at building impactful influencer relationships, overseeing the creation of compelling social media content, and managing multi-channel campaigns that align with brand goals.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in brand marketing, influencer strategy, and social media management, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results in brand growth and community engagement.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Ensure that ambassadors create onsite and social content that resonates with the target audience, including speaking videos, coach content, and member UGC.
- Collaborate with the creative team to craft campaigns that captivate and generate buzz.
- Optimize rollout strategies to maximize reach and impact—because every move counts.
- Stay ahead of trends, content formats, and cultural shifts to keep the brand leading the pack.
- Track community sentiment and manage inbox communications with finesse.
- Manage a team of 3–Influencer Marketing Manager, Social Media and Influencer Coordinator, and the Ambassador Manager–to create efficiencies and collaboration amongst teams.
- You will also be expected to create continuities and establish best practices for both the Ambassador and Social teams.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Influencer and Ambassador Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive influencer and ambassador strategies that align with brand objectives, targeting key demographics and extending brand reach.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and key industry figures to effectively represent the brand and drive awareness.
- Create compelling, on-brand narratives and campaigns that resonate with target audiences across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Monitor influencer campaigns and generate performance reports, analyzing metrics to assess effectiveness and refine strategies.
- Ensure ambassadors meet content requirements.
Social Media Strategy and Execution:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of multi-channel social media campaigns, setting clear KPIs and providing performance reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external content creators to develop engaging multimedia content that drives engagement and fosters community growth.
- Manage social media content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of content aligned with brand messaging and strategic goals.
- Lead the identification and implementation of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging influencer marketing practices.
- Oversee TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook shops.
Brand Leadership and Collaboration:
- Partner with creative and marketing teams to align influencer and social media strategies with broader marketing objectives and campaigns.
- Provide insights and recommendations on new content formats, influencer partnerships, and social media strategies based on industry trends and competitive analysis.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee the Social and Ambassador team, as well as content creators, ensuring alignment with brand goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with PR and communications teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms and maintain brand integrity.
- Collaborate closely with the Ecommerce and Operation Directors to align marketing strategies with business goals and revenue-driving initiatives.
Community Program:
- Oversee the implementation of new community growth opportunities such as (but not limited to): community gifting, community programs, IG broadcast channel, etc.
- Must be able to grow these channels and optimize for optimal success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of experience in social media management and influencer marketing, preferably in the lifestyle, wellness, or beauty sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale influencer campaigns with measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey brand messaging to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Creative, strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
- Knowledge of influencer marketing platforms and social media reporting tools (e.g., Google + Shopify Analytics).
COMPENSATION:
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Benefits package includes health insurance, 401k, and performance-based bonuses.
