Job Description :

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Director of Accounting to help manage the financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions for a diverse portfolio of entities within an Insurance Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams to model revenue and profitability for new opportunities.
  • Enhance financial reporting processes, including actual results, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Oversee financial planning, analysis, and forecasting activities.
  • Supervise the monthly financial close process and prepare financial statements.
  • Assist in preparing audited financial statements and tax returns.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Supervise and mentor staff as needed.

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA Required
  • Public accounting Required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel;
  • QuickBooks and VBA is a plus.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    • Compensation:

    $125,000- $145,000
