Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Our client, a business funding firm, is seeking a Director of Accounting to join their team in Manhattan, NY. In this role, you will oversee all accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, lead month-end and year-end close processes and manage compliance with regulatory requirements. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site, providing an excellent balance of collaboration and autonomy. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact!

Job Function

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for both the management company and lending vehicles.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Ensure accurate and timely investor reporting, capital account statements, and NAV calculations.
• Manage year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Oversee preparation and review of tax returns and K-1s with third-party tax advisors.
• Support CFO with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and performance analysis.
• Assist in debt facility reporting, covenant compliance, and treasury operations.

Job Requirements

• CPA required.
• 10 years of accounting experience, including public accounting and lending.
• Knowledge of GAAP and tax concepts related to partnerships.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Investran, Allvue, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks.
